An American flag billowed in the breeze against a bright blue sky while patriotic music blared Saturday afternoon as about 30 people gathered along North Davis Highway in Pensacola for a tea party rally.
Coordinated by John Baker of the Pensacola Tea Party, the purpose of the demonstration was to protest against President Barack Obama’s request to the U.S.
Congress last week to raise the debt ceiling by $1.2 trillion.

Magginkat: Tea Baggers...........so proud of their ignorance. They raise a ruckus about the debt ceiling and don't have a clue what it's about. Why weren't they screaming when Chicken George breezed through a surplus, lied us into two illegal occupations of countries that have never done us any harm & tripled the national debt. Oh heck no, these same silly know nothings were cheering him on with all their might claiming that he was patriotic as he walked all over the Constitution. Long forgotten are the thousands of soldiers who were murdered & continue to be murdered for these lies, the innocent bystanders whe were murdered as their country was bombed into sand pile. And still they want those spend crazy, corrupt fools in Congress to bomb another country that has done us no harm. Wave that flag Tea Baggers & keep on waving it because that's all you are getting from those supporters of the 1%. Wave it while our schools are closed down and our own people continue to die because they cannot afford the simplest of medical care. Wave on Tea Baggers while our highways, bridges, etc. collapse and kill more people. It won't bother the 1% as they happily fly to their well maintained airports in their fancy jets with their tax deductions and subsidies (welfare checks in amounts you could only dream about). Wave that flag clueless fools. The 1% love it that you are so clueless & they will say anything to keep you that way.
